Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using send-file.online ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

We confirm that we operate in compliance with international regulations regarding digital services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of send-file.online.

2. Description of Service

send-file.online is a temporary file transfer service. It allows users to upload files for a limited time to share with specific recipients.

The Service is NOT a cloud storage or backup solution. Files are automatically and permanently deleted after their retention period expires or download limits are reached. We do not guarantee the preservation of any data.

3. User Conduct (Prohibited Content)

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. We have a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding illegal content. You must NOT upload, share, or store any of the following:

Strictly Prohibited
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any such content will be immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies.
  • Malware & Viruses: Ransomware, spyware, trojans, or any software designed to damage computer systems.
  • Copyright Infringement: Pirated software ("Warez"), movies, music, or games that you do not have the legal right to distribute.
  • Violence & Hate Speech: Content promoting terrorism, self-harm, or violence against individuals or groups.
  • Phishing: Fake login pages or scams designed to steal credentials.

We employ automated hashing mechanisms and community reporting to detect such content. Violation of this section will result in immediate file deletion and a permanent IP ban.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of the files you upload. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

By uploading a file, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, and transfer the file solely for the purpose of operating the Service (i.e., to allow your recipient to download it). This license expires automatically when the file is deleted from our servers.

5. Termination & Right to Delete

We reserve the strict right to suspend your access or delete any file at our sole discretion, at any time, without prior notice, without explanation, and without liability.

Reasons for deletion include, but are not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms (especially Section 3).
  • Compliance with a legal order or subpoena.
  • Technical maintenance or server capacity issues.
  • Suspicious encryption patterns indicative of malware distribution.

You agree that send-file.online is not liable to you or any third party for any termination of access or deletion of data.

6. Copyright & DMCA Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement.

How to report abuse:

If you believe a file hosted on our Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to sendfileonline2026@gmail.com containing:

  • The URL (link) of the infringing file.
  • A description of the copyrighted work.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  • Your electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove the content immediately.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. IF YOU USE OUR ENCRYPTION FEATURE AND LOSE YOUR KEY, YOUR DATA IS PERMANENTLY LOST; WE CANNOT RECOVER IT.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATORS OF SEND-FILE.ONLINE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
